This 14-century farmhouse just three miles from Tetbury is a real gem. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, Calcot Manor is the perfect countryside retreat for couples and families alike, with stylish rooms and over 220 acres of meadowland to explore.

Calcot Manor is appealing to both families and couples. Parents looking for a rural retreat with activities for the little ones will not be disappointed.

In summer the outdoor swimming pool and play facilities allow children to be children by blowing off steam and enjoy the sunshine, while The Mez, filled with games consoles, computers and even a small cinema, is a perfect bolthole when the weather is not so kind.

For those days when mum and dad need a break, there is also an Ofsted registered crèche.
 

ACCOMMODATION

Calcot Manor has 35 individually designed rooms. Choose the rooms and suites in the barn if you are staying with the family, of which there are 10 to choose from. Couples will prefer the peace of the rooms in the main building. Super-comfy hideaways with extra touches.

Choose a cosy bolthole made for two, or a generous family pad with room to stay and play… All of these rooms and suites are overflowing with style AND substance. Beds just made for a lazy lie-in and room service, and beautylicious bathrooms just begging for bubbles… in the tub and in a glass!

Now we’re talking! Calcots Generous Family Pads are designed over two floors, giving you and your little ones plenty of space to hang out together and relax. You even have your own private garden and a bathroom with twin tubs… double the bubbles!

DINING

The Conservatory Restaurant
Elegant, welcoming, homely, warm… As Calcot’s principal restaurant, The Conservatory is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Families can eat in the Gumstool Inn between 5.30pm-9.30pm (9.00pm on Sundays) or at lunchtime.

The Gumstool Inn is a traditional country pub that serves a wide choice of favourites with a finesse you wouldn’t normally expect from a pub menu. Dan Craythorne Head Chef, has created a menu bursting with beautifully cooked food, the freshest local produce, and tempting Mediterranean flavours.

Lunch: 12.00-2.00pm
Dinner: in the Conservatory is served until 9.30pm (9.00pm on Sunday)
The Gumstool is open until 11.00pm (Sunday: 10.30pm).

Room Service
Gumstool menu is available during pub opening hours. Sandwiches and drinks available 24 hours a day.

Bar
The Gumstool’s log fire and lodge-like feel help to make a charming country-pub environment in which to relax. Also an elegant hotel lounge for pre-dinner drinks.

By Road
Calcot & Spa lies 12 miles from both Junctions 17 (via Malmesbury and the A429) and 18 (via the A46) of the M4 and Junction 13 of the M5.

The hotel is situated three miles west of the town of Tetbury on the A4135, just before the crossroads of the A4135 and the A46. Driving time from London is under two hours.
